Job Description

Duties include:

Driving Vac Tanker (Class 2 - New Vehicle arriving July 25) Ability to manage themselves effectively in keeping with the current driver hours regulations. Completing waste transfer/consignment notes (paper and electronic). Full training will be provided. Cleaning of Interceptors & drainage. Collection and transfer of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Conducting package waste collections (IBCs & Drums) in Curtain Sided vehicle (7.5/26T). Driver maintenance of vehicle and defect reporting. Occasional yard support work will be required. Manual handling will be required.

Candidate must hold:

HGV Qualified with no more than 6 penalty points for minor offences. CPC Qualified. Digi Tacho Card.

Desirable:

ADR Qualified

Hours of work and remuneration:

Starting at 15 per hour raising to 15.50 after successful completion of probation period. Minimum of 48 hours (Basic) per week. Early starts, nights out and some weekend work required. Time and a half paid over basic hours. Double time paid for Sunday and any Bank Holidays worked (Day off in lieu for Bank Holidays Worked). 20 Days paid holiday + 8 x bank holidays per year. Potential to conduct HGV Class 1 Training.
