Computer Technology Support Ltd require a Class 2 Driver/Installer at their Basingstoke depot for specialised equipment deliveries and relocations throughout the UK.

You will be working as part of a team and sharing the responsibilities for the transport and safe handling of high value, fragile equipment along with the upkeep of company assets.

When required you will also be assisting with other day to day requirements such as site surveys, goods in deliveries, yard duties, asset management.

Employment will be based on Monday to Friday with variable start/finish times so flexibility and your own transport is essential. There will be early starts and late finishes required at short notice.

Overtime is paid for weekday out of hours and there is overtime occasionally available at weekends.

Overnight stays away from home will be required from time to time and Hotel accommodation will be provided.

Requirements may and do change dependent on the needs of the business so flexibility is a must.

UK Driving licence, Driver CPC and British Passport required due to the nature of the work

In this role you will be very much, hands-on, customer facing and as such appearance and attitude along with excellent communication skill are key to the success and longevity of this role.

You will be required to drive all ranges of vehicles from 3.5t vans to 18t trucks.

You will be working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure our quality of service is always provided.

You will need to be tech savvy as this role includes inputting data into mobile tablet/phone applications

You will need to be upbeat and proactive with a positive can-do attitude.

Some heavy lifting will be involved so you will need to be physically fit. Training will be provided for all the different types of equipment handling.

CSCS would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
