Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 HGV Drayman to join our team working out of a well known brewery in Devises. Experience preferred although not essential. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of goods, ensuring that products are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations while operating a Dray vehicle.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class 2 HGV Dray vehicle for the transportation of goods to various locations. Working as part of a 2 man crew delivering to pubs. Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling techniques are utilised. Complete all necessary paperwork related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 HGV driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a preference for candidates with commercial driving experience. Familiarity with dray vehicles is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines.
