Job Description

We are looking for experienced and proactive Class 2 drivers to expand our team of dedicated staff!

The role

to drive our company vehicles in a safe and professional manner to collect and deliver various sizes of skips and containers across our local areas to complete documented pre-use checks on the vehicle and report any issues identified to liaise and communicate effectively with customers, members of the public and various site functions to represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner to complete the daily work schedule in line with the customer and company objectives

What you need

valid Class 2 category driving licence proven working experience as a HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume operation previous experience working as a HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this good written and verbal communication skills reliability, punctuality and good levels of attendance are a must

The package

From 35k per annum, depending on experience and ability to operate a variety of waste vehicles

48.75 hours per week, Mon to Fri 6.30am-5.15pm

Alternate Saturdays 7am-12.30pm, paid as extra

Full training on our vehicles provided, with incremental increases offered on completion of training
