Category C HGV Drivers Wanted

Established in 2009, Tremayne Distributions Ltd is a successful, growing, fast paced business. With a large fleet of over 30 goods vehicles the company operates bespoke overnight & same day courier services throughout the UK and occasionally into mainland Europe. The Vehicle Operating Centre is situated in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Vacancies currently exist for 2 HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join our busy and productive team of road transport professionals effective immediately. The position offers all the key benefits of being fully employed by a company who genuinely "walk the walk" in terms of adopting a "Safety First" culture and working only to industry best practice.

Work Pattern:

Monday to Friday only with occasional weekend work.

Duties Include:

Delivering Nationwide.
Collecting and delivering urgent parcels, pallets and awkward freight.
Following company procedure with every delivery to ensure safety and excellent customer service.
Recording vehicle defects on the drivers app and ensuring your vehicle is legally roadworthy and as clean as a whistle at all times.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

- HGV Class 2 Licence (Cat C)
- Up to date Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Current Digital Tachograph Driver Card (Digicard)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Regulations & EU Drivers' Hours Regulations.
- Excellent time keeping skills.
- Good level of physical fitness, this job may require heavy lifting.
- Independent ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to use and read/follow a professional satellite navigation system.
- A good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- A positive "can do" attitude

The candidate above can achieve on target earnings of 40,450 (OTE) based on 50 hour working week.

Payment is weekly, in arrears. (each Wednesday)
