Do you hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence and looking for a new challenge?

Here at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches. You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely. Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt. Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations. Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage. Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures. Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager. Take proactive responsibility for vehicle servicing, MOT scheduling, and inspections. Provide assistance in the warehouse as needed.

Key skills

Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record. Valid Driver CPC Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
