CH MIDDLETON Ltd is a longstanding family run waste management, skip hire, and recycling company based in the Doncaster area. Established over 70 years ago, the company operates a Waste Transfer Station, Waste Recycling, and Asbestos Facilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CLASS 2 DRIVER located in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have excellent customer and communication skills + be capable of using a Tablet Computer

Typical working week would be Monday - Friday.

Start Time

7am.

Finish Time

to suit workload (typically 3:45pm).

Overtime is paid at time and a half for early starts, or late finish after 3:45pm. Additional pay is given for Saturdays/Sundays.

The positions are for regular work with realistic opportunity for shared overtime. The positions will become permanent for candidates who prove to be loyal and hard working.

Upto 2 weeks familiarisation training given.

Typical Duties

Delivery And Collection Of Skips At Commercial And Private Premises. Transportation Of Waste Materials. Sheeting Un-Sheeting Of Skips / Coupling/Un-Coupling Of Compactor Bins. Maintaining Cleanliness Of Skips And Wagon. Reporting Roadworthiness Of Wagon. Completion Of Waste Transfer Related Paperwork And Consignment Notes.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience.

LGV Cat. C / Class 2 Licence. Digital Tachograph Card. Completed Drivers CPC Qualification (must possess a DQC). Competent At Maths And English.

The Following Would Be Advantageous.

Cable / Multi Lift Experience. Experience In Operation Of Skip Equipment. ADR Qualification / Licence. Knowledge Of Local Area And Roads. Clean Driving Licence. Clean Background Checks (For Sensitive Site Work). Fork Lift Experience/Training. Waste Industry Experience. Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and in a team Attention to detail and safety-conscious

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
