Class 2 HGV Driver

Fulltime - Permanent

Lissett, Driffield (17 miles from Hull, 6 miles from Bridlington)

CB Solutions U.K. Ltd are an established, market leading, manufacturer of UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, timber, fire doors, and aluminium curtain walling, supplying to both the modular and traditional build construction industries throughout the UK and Ireland.

Due to an increased workload, we are now looking to recruit a fulltime, permanent Class 2 HGV Driver. You will deliver our goods throughout the UK in our vehicle and MUST be well presented as you will be customer facing at point of delivery.

The successful candidate MUST have:

Good communication and customer service skills At least 2-3 year experience with commercial deliveries in a class 2 vehicle A clean driving license Up to date CPC A digital tachograph card and experience using it

The role will include:

Responsible for the delivery of goods across the UK using our 18-tonne vehicle Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery information Accurately completing weekly timesheets in a timely manner Collecting and returning stillages to CB Solutions Willingness to stay overnight on occasion, depending on delivery schedule Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues Follow all health and safety procedures at both CB Solutions and delivery sites
