Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our DAY SHIFT team.

Based in Beckton E6, you will work Monday to Friday with all bank holidays off.
Week between Xmas and New Year also off.

Hours are 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Job and finish so you will sometimes finish early, but you will always be paid your full shift.

You will be delivering pallets in central London using a 12 or 18 ton curtainside tail lift vehicle. You will ideally have previous experience of tail-lift pallet deliveries.

Electric pallet truck provided on all vehicles.

Knowledge of Central and East London is preferred.

Excellent facilities at our site including kitchen with free tea/coffee.

Annual performance bonus of 1000 is available, taking salary to 45k total

Weekly or monthly pay options.

Candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with depot staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally at all times.

Experience

Previous experience as a Multidrop Driver within a pallet network is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
