Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while ensuring timely deliveries. The successful applicant will have experience in commercial driving, and installation of MFD's.

Duties

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Installation , collections, re-sites of photocopiers. Installation, collection of ATM Machines. Commercial relocations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency. Assist in the training of new drivers as required.

Skills

Proven experience as a Commercial Driver with a valid driving licence for heavy goods vehicles. Stairclimber training would advantageous Applicant must have experience in technical distribution. Physically able Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary.

Pay: 15.50-16.68 per hour
