We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various Sites within the Scottish region, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely distribution of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs as required by company procedures. Communicate effectively with Production office, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Follow all legal requirements related to driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and load limits.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Valid driving licence suitable for operating large goods vehicles (LGV). Experience with flatbed transportation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to organise routes efficiently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
