We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced drivers to contribute to our operations while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in compliance with road safety laws and company policies Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring the integrity of goods during transit Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including securement of loads and safe driving practices

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar equipment Strong driving skills with a clean driving record Demonstrated ability to handle delivery schedules efficiently under pressure Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance records Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards within the transport industry Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles confidently Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable
