Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team in based in Cambridge. This role is vital for ensuring timely delivery of building materials to our clients, reflecting our commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently to transport building materials. Ensure timely deliveries to various construction sites and retail locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams. Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles. Valid UK driving license with relevant categories for flatbed trucks. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations. Excellent time management skills. Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading and unloading. Good communication skills. Prior experience with flatbed trucks is highly desirable.
