Dare Utilities Ltd work across the Utility sector on Electricity, Water and Fibre contracts.

We are looking for a skilled Class 2 or Class 1 Driver with Clam Shell Lorry Mounted Crane certificate, experience is sort after, however we still want to speak with individuals who are keen to get into HIAB.

Type of shifts: Full time, Days & Occasionally the opportunity for Weekends and Nights

The Role includes Operating the lorry mounted crane safely and efficiently (Equipped with a HIAB Clam Shell system), to load and unload materials at various locations/sites.

Delivering materials such as sand and type 1 803 subbase. Along with removing excavated materials from site and taking to the local waste transfer station for recycling.

The position can be physically at times so will need to be capable of manual handling items when necessary.

Complete daily inspections on both the vehicle and the crane to ensure safety. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) & follow safety protocols Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance on the crane and keep it clean and well-maintained

Requirements: Be a Professional HGV Driver Valid Class 2. Reliable and able to work as part of a team. Minimal IT Knowledge will be required for completion of standard client forms daily, which will require using a handheld device/Tablet.

Driver Knowledge: Good understanding of transportation laws and regulations. Great operation of HGVs. Use of Lorry mounted cranes. Basic Understanding of maintenance and repair of HGVs. Used GPS & tracking devices. We have opportunities for the right candidates to support with further training after a period of employment is complete.

Pay: TBC depending on experience
