Overview

Class 2 tipper driver. Join our dynamic team of Class 2 HGV Tipper Drivers and take on an energetic role that keeps operations moving smoothly! In this position, you'll be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) with a tipper mechanism, delivering materials to various sites, and ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes. Your expertise in commercial driving, will be vital in supporting our construction, waste management, or logistics projects. We're looking for motivated drivers who thrive on active work, possess excellent communication skills, and are eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV tipper truck for local and regional deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety standards are met Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups Maintain accurate logs of delivery records, and inspection reports

Experience

Proven commercial driving experience with a valid Class 2 (Category C) driver's license for heavy goods vehicles will help but not essential Knowledge of loading & unloading procedures, route driving strategies, and safety protocols for commercial vehicles Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients in fast-paced environments
