Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Hiab Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, particularly with flatbed vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience operating flatbed vehicles is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
