HIAB-HGV Driver - Kent Depot

Star Power Hire Ltd provides a range of specialist temporary power solutions, providing full-service and bespoke set-ups, supporting projects across the country. We offer our customers a one-stop-shop for temporary power hire and site set-up services.

We have a vacancy for a HIAB HGV Driver based at our Kent Depot.

As a professional driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of our power generator equipment across the South-East region.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading

Drive in accordance with the law, safely and courteously

Comply with current legislation

Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading

Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service

Ensure Best Practice, Standards and Company Policies are met

Build rapport, be polite and courteous to customers

Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience of multi-drops

Preferably have previous experience in transporting, loading and unloading of electrical or construction equipment. However full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Have the ability to work well under pressure

Understand the importance of excellent customer service

Positive and friendly attitude

Required licences or certifications:

HGV Class 2 licence

Valid HIAB Licence

. ADR Licence

Digital Tacho Card

Driver CPC
