The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Class 2 Grab/HIAB Driver to join Lochwynd Ltd to work out of our Warrington depot.

The Duties

To conduct works under the direction of the Squad Leader and ensure the safe and correct usage of Plant which includes:

Ability to undertake manual handling tasks

Good Communication and ability to follow instructions given

Dedicated to continuous professional development

Assist Squad Leader with Site set up and general maintenance

Assist Squad Leader with excavations and reinstatements (includes CAT scanning)

Assist Squad Leader with cable pulling

Safe and correct use of designated plant/equipment whilst under Supervision

Safe and correct installation of ducting, kerbs, slabs, and street furniture (cabinet outer casing only) to specification whilst under Supervision

Safe and correct laying of bituminous and granolithic material in addition to compaction.

Safe and correct operation of HIAB - clamshell, bucket and/or hook.

Key Working Relationships

The Job Holder will:

Work closely with Squad Leader and managers. Build and maintain relationships with team members.

Skills & Experience

The Job Holder will/may have:

Groundworks experience. General Civil Engineering.

Qualification Requirements:

The Job Holder will/may have:

CSCS/ECS Touchscreen Test Certificate/Card. Emergency First Aid at Work NRSWA Streetworks Operative Card

The job holder most hold the following:

HIAB Operator Card (Clamshell, hook and/or bucket) - NPORS/CPCS-Essential CPC
NO AGENCIES
