Job Title: Class 2 driver - 26 tonne curtain sided lorry

Salary: 115 - 160 (dependant on experience and reponsibilties)

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced class 2 driver to operate a 26-tonne curtain-sided lorry. This role involves daily multiple collections and drop-offs on a single, planned route to begin with, ensuring efficient and professional delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily multiple collections and deliveries on designated route. Conduct pre-use and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects as soon as possible. Adhere strictly to drivers' hours regulations, tachograph rules, and road traffic laws. Assist with loading and unloading when required. Safely operate various types of loading equipment as needed. Ensure loads are secured correctly and good handled with care. Maintain a professional attitude when representing the company at customer sites.
Requirements
Valid class 2 license Valid driver CPC and digital tachograph card Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles preferred Ability to operate loading equipment Physically fit, as the role may involve manual handling Good understanding of UK driving hours and compliance requirements Reliable, punctual, and professional
