Maxpack is expanding and looking for an experienced
Class 2 Driver
to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities
Safely load, unload, maintain, and operate a 12T Curtainsider vehicle. Deliver goods on time and in full, following route and time schedules. Provide high levels of customer service. Maintain vehicle and consumables to a satisfactory standard. Identify opportunities to optimize daily operations. Assist with other duties when not driving.
Requirements
Valid
Cat C Licence
(Class 2) andDriver CPC
- minimum 2 years UK experience. Excellent knowledge of road networks within 75 miles of Shrewsbury. Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Good communication and organisational skills.Preferred:
Forklift Counterbalance LicenceNot Necessary:
Forklift Pivot Truck LicenceBenefits
20 days annual leave (increasing to 25 after 5 years) + 8 bank holidays. No weekend working. Uniform and PPE provided. Opportunities for training and development.
