We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a proven track record in delivery driver roles. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe transportation of products while adhering to all regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate 3.5t Van with Trailer and then Class 2 Relief to transport goods to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of materials Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry interior and exterior

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with appropriate classifications for commercial driving Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, particularly with flatbed vehicles Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively Good communication skills for interaction with customers and team members Ability to work independently as well as part of a team A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
