We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tipper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and communication.
Duties
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
Navigate routes effectively while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage.
Perform basic mechanical maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
Valid Class 2 driving licence
Previous experience an advantage
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
