Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipper vehicles, and a proven track record in delivery driver roles. This position involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate tipper lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients upon delivery.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipper vehicles, is required. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
