Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hard working individual to join our team as a class 2 tipper driver. Previous experience is not essential however it is beneficial. We are more than happy to train new drivers to the industry so don't let this deter you.

A standard working day is 10/11 hours (6am - 4/5pm) with the standard week ranging between 50-55 hours.

The work required, ie - material to be collected and location to be delivered will all be on an app based software so basic knowledge of mobile phones and applications is a great help.

Each day varies on location however there are no long haul trips, all work is local and within a 50-60 mile radius on PE13 4SD.

A standard working day will consist of sand, gravel and stone being collected from local quarries and recycling centres and then delivered to different building sites and concrete plants around the local counties. A standard day will also consist of muck being collected from said sites and tipped at local quarries.

Responsibilities

Thorough pre start and post start walk around checks with a strong emphasis on tyres conditions due to the nature of the work. Must keep the lorry presentable and clean - wash areas provided. Must be physically able to shovel the back body clean when necessary to avoid contamination of materials. Ability to work independently

Qualifications

Class 2 licence Valid and up to date CPC Valid digital tachograph card
