Job Description
What You'll Do
Drive an 18-tonne curtain-sided vehicle to deliver palletised cardboard and packaging across England & Wales. Operate tail lift when required (training provided). Work Monday to Friday -
no nights out
. Enjoy consistency with your own allocated vehicle Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling goods. Provide basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road.What You'll Need
Valid Class C licence with
minimum 2 years' experience
. Current CPC (future training offered). A great attitude and punctual, professional approach. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
