Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class One Tramper to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. Duties

Operate flatbed lorries in compliance with all safety and road regulations Transport goods over long distances, adhering to scheduled delivery times Conduct pre-journey safety inspections of the vehicle and secure cargo appropriately Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and any potential delays Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained throughout shifts Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, following health and safety protocols

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar equipment Delivery driver experience preferred, with a strong understanding of route planning and time management Valid Class One (C+E) driving licence recognised in the UK Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods Ability to operate flatbeds safely and efficiently under varying weather conditions Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
