This role is fixed-term starting in January 2026, and ending on 31st August 2026.

We're looking for a dedicated and creative Year 2 Class Teacher to join our school, someone who can bring energy, empathy and excellence to everything they do.



In this pivotal stage of primary education, you'll play a key role in helping children develop curiosity, confidence and a genuine love for learning. You'll create an engaging, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen, valued and supported to achieve their very best - both academically and personally.

What will you do?

Deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and ensure high standards of literacy and student progress. Establish a safe and stimulating environment, manage classroom behavior, and promote student well-being. Use assessment data to monitor student progress, set targets, and plan lessons. Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate effectively with parents and external bodies. Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.
