About Us

We are seeking to internally appoint an excellent, inspirational and highly motivated class teacher to work in our school from September 2025.



The position will be in Lower Key Stage 2 and is open to applicants from M1 to M6.

Salary: 31,650 - 43,607

Contract Type: Temporary for one year

Working Pattern: Full Time

Location: Durrington Infant and Junior School, Worthing, West Sussex

Interviews: Wednesday 25th June

What You Need to Succeed

The successful candidate will have:


High expectations of learners The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues The ability to motivate, engage and enthuse all children in a positive, inclusive classroom ethos Excellent subject knowledge The ability to nurture and inspire all children, establishing and maintaining high standards and rates of progress A full and up to date understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, National Curriculum and current assessment procedures A reflective approach to teaching and is always keen to develop their practice
