We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, creative teacher (maternity cover) to join our successful, friendly primary school from September 2025. Whilst this is a full-time position, part-time hours may be possible. We are also flexible on the start date - September/October 2025. We welcome application from ECTs. Whist this is a temporary position for one year, depending on school needs, there is a possibility of a longer term position in the future.
The successful candidate will:
have a in-depth knowledge of the Curriculum and the role of assessment in securing progress;
have previous experience working within KS1 or KS2;
be passionate about and committed to providing high quality learning opportunities;
be an excellent practitioner with high expectations of all pupils;
have a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities;
enjoy working as part of a team;
have excellent organisation and communication skills;
have the ability to establish positive working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents;
be able to support and make a positive contribution to the ethos of our school and support our Catholic traditions and curriculum;
