Responsible to: Headteacher

Responsible for: To teach primary age children and to undertake associated pastoral and administrative duties.

Working hours: 32.5 hours per week. Fixed term Maternity Cover starting January 2026 until April 2027. For candidates who are not currently in paid employment, the Trust would be willing to consider an earlier start date as a Learning Support Assistant (which could be based at any of the sites within our Trust and will be paid at the appropriate rate for this position). This opportunity would enable the successful applicant to gain valuable experience within the Trust before beginning the teaching role at Sitwell Junior School.

Inspire Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which also includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School, Thomas Rotherham College and Winterhill School.

We are looking for a candidate who will be based at Sitwell Junior School, to join our enthusiastic, supportive and successful team as a KS2 Class Teacher on maternity cover. Applications from ITT and experienced candidates are welcomed.
