Thirsk Community Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join us part time. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to contribute as part of our Inclusion leadership group, helping to shape an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every pupil thrives.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.


Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress, adapting teaching to respond to individual strengths and needs.


Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.


Collaborate actively within the Person Development leadership group to develop and implement strategies that support all learners.


Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.


Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting our vision and values through teamwork and community engagement.


Required Qualifications and Experience Qualified teacher status.


Proven ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.


Experience or willingness to work collaboratively within leadership teams, particularly in Inclusion.

Commitment to professional growth and contributing to school improvement.
