Are you passionate about making a difference for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking an
experienced and dedicated Class Teacher
to join our specialist provision within a thriving mainstream school.
About the Role:
You will lead a small class of pupils with
multiple and complex SEND
needs, delivering high-quality teaching tailored to individual learning plans. Working closely with our SEND team, you will create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet diverse needs.
Implement EHCP targets and monitor progress effectively.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, families and external agencies
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with children with a range of SEND needs (e.g., autism, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities).
Strong understanding of inclusive practice and individualised teaching.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
