Grundisburgh Primary School

is a welcoming 1-form entry primary school nestled in the charming village of Grundisburgh, conveniently located between Woodbridge and Ipswich. About the role




We are seeking a kind and welcoming

Class Teacher

to lead a Year 1 class and take on the exciting responsibility of leading a subject area within the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated teacher looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in a school rated 'Good' by Ofsted (2022).

Key Responsibilities



Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils. Lead and develop a subject area, contributing to curriculum enhancement. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and good behaviour. Work collaboratively with staff and contribute positively to the school community. Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of all pupils.

Qualifications and Experience



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1 Demonstrable ability to lead a subject area within a primary school setting Strong classroom management skills with a focus on kindness and inclusivity.
