Classroom Assistant position in Wakefield - Term time only 22.5 hours - Tues , Weds and Thursday



Purpose



To support with the successful implementation and delivery of an intern's Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and working closely with interns with a range of additional needs.



To work alongside the tutor in the classroom in addressing the needs of pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning in line with the relevant curriculum.

Essential:

You will have:

Experience of working with young people with additional needs. Experience and knowledge of a Supported Internship



Supporting children's learning in a school or similar setting



Well-developed interpersonal skills to be able to relate well to a wide range of people



Work constructively as part of a team whilst being able to demonstrate initiative
