Razzamataz West Cumbria is seeking an inspiring and hard-working individual with a passion for supporting the delivery of high-quality performing arts tuition to join their team. The role involves teaching Dance, Drama, and Singing to children aged 4-8 years. This is a part-time position, with classes taking place on Saturdays during term time at The Whitehaven Academy.

Requirements:

Experience teaching and/or working with children and young people. A caring nature, a natural affinity with children, and a mature and responsible attitude. A passion for performing arts. Ability to create and coordinate fresh, innovative material for termly presentations. Reliability, punctuality, organization, and a strong commitment to being a team player. A passion for excellent customer service and creating a positive learning environment. Having fun while teaching!

Responsibilities:

Support with weekly lesson planning to deliver awesome classes. Supporting with the coordination of Dance, Drama, and Singing pieces for shows and presentations. Active participation in team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All successful candidates will undergo appropriate vetting procedures, including a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check (DBS) and references. The job type is part-time, primarily on Saturdays during term time, with occasional hours outside of contracted hours. Competitive rates will be offered based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 3.5 per week
