Position: Cover Supervisor

Start date: September 2023

Day rate: \xc2\xa375- \xc2\xa3105

Contract: Full-time, Part-time or ad hoc

Location- Scunthorpe

We currently work with academies across the whole of Lincolnshire who offer full time, part time or ad hoc opportunities with the option to be in the same school ongoing if desired.

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

\xc2\xb7 Provide support to the teachers and students as directed and ensure that classes are appropriately managed during a teacher absence.

\xc2\xb7 Be responsible for the delivery of pre-planned cover of lessons

\xc2\xb7 To undertake classroom activities as directed by teachers to support teaching and learning process

\xc2\xb7 To cover tutor groups as and when needed

\xc2\xb7 To input data to support Academies policies in Assessment, Recording and Reporting

\xc2\xb7 To manage the behaviour of pupils to ensure a constructive environment is maintained, by using a range of strategies

\xc2\xb7 To respond to student needs as they arise in the classroom

Who can be a Cover Supervisor:

\xc2\xb7 Are you an Unqualified Teacher?

\xc2\xb7 Are you a Tutor?

\xc2\xb7 Are you a sports Coach?

\xc2\xb7 Do you train students in Drama and Dance or something similar?

\xc2\xb7 Have you delivered training to adults?

\xc2\xb7 Do you have a Degree in a specialist subject?

\xc2\xb7 Are you a scout/Brownies or Guide Leader or have helped with the NCS programme?

\xc2\xb7 Do you have the ability to lead?

\xc2\xb7 Are you a good role model?
