Job Description


We are looking to appoint a classroom teacher to join our school. They need to be passionate about learning and committed to driving forward outcomes for all pupils. We are looking for a candidate who can work as an effective team member, planning and delivering the curriculum. The successful candidate will be:

  • an excellent, innovative and creative teacher;
  • a practitioner who understands the purpose of systematic synthetic phonics and recognises the centrality of reading as a gateway to access educational and personal achievement;
  • passionate about meeting children\xe2\x80\x99s individual learning needs and committed to promoting learning where disadvantage is present;
  • committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers, who grow in self-regulation and self-esteem;
  • committed to achieving the highest possible standards of work and behaviour;
  • a good communicator, who is caring, flexible and approachable and committed to developing parental and community engagement.
