About the role



As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a central role in shaping young minds during a crucial stage of their learning journey. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across a broad primary curriculum, while fostering a supportive, stimulating classroom environment. Beyond academic progress, you'll support each child's social, emotional, and physical development and help them grow both inside and outside the classroom. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and build strong relationships with parents to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil.



This is a Maternity Cover position needed from January 2026 for 12 months on a part-time basis, 0.6 FTE.





Who we are looking for



You are an enthusiastic, committed educator with Qualified Teacher Status and a solid understanding of the National Curriculum. You can adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, using a variety of strategies and resources, including ICT. You care deeply about pupil wellbeing and behaviour, and you communicate clearly with both children and adults. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are always looking for ways to improve your practice. Most importantly, you bring energy, empathy, and a passion for helping every child reach their full potential, along with a good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck into school life.
