Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Crumlin Road Gaol. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our historic site, ensuring a welcoming environment for our visitors. The Cleaner will contribute significantly to our mission of preserving history while providing an exceptional visitor experience.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across various areas of the facility, including restrooms, exhibition spaces, and conference rooms. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Assist in setting up rooms for events as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to visitor inquiries regarding cleanliness or facility use. Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on cleaning protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanour. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
