We are seeking reliable and dedicated

Cleaners

to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in healthcare settings such as homes, and assisted living homes. Your work will directly contribute to the well-being of clients and staff by helping prevent the spread of infection and creating a safe atmosphere for care delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and surface disinfection in patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas. Follow strict infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines. Safely handle and dispose of clinical waste and hazardous materials according to policy. Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitizers, toilet paper, and paper towels. Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health hazards to the appropriate personnel. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently, in line with training provided. Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the facility. Support a respectful and professional environment for patients, residents, and staff.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare, commercial, or similar environment is preferred. Understanding of infection control procedures is desirable (training will be provided). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed. We do not provide sponsorships.
