Role overview

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner / Food Preparation Assistant to support our team in the early mornings. This role combines cleaning duties with basic food preparation to ensure the restaurant is ready for opening.

Key responsibilities

Cleaning duties:

Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment and food prep areas Washing dishes, trays and utensils Ensuring storage rooms, bins and waste areas are tidy and well-maintained Following strict hygiene and safety standards

Food preparation duties:

Preparing fresh ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning items, stocking stations) Setting up food areas for the day's service Assisting chefs and grill staff with morning prep Maintaining cleanliness while handling food

What we're looking for

Must be able to work

from 6:00am

(essential) Experience in cleaning or food preparation (preferred but not essential -- training provided) Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently Good communication and teamwork skills
