Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Bristol Aquarium

Contract Type: 3hrs per day, 3 days a week, 2:30PM-5:30PM

Contract Length: Permanent

Salary: NMW/NLW

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Bristol Aquarium, Bristol.

Join the team at Bristol Aquarium where we offer visitors the chance to explore more than 40 naturally-themed displays and spot the thousands of amazing aquatic creatures, including tropical sharks, rays, seahorses, puffer fish, piranhas, and so many more.

Role Purpose

To ensure that Bristol Aquarium is cleaned to the highest standard achievable whilst ensuring the safety of colleagues and aquarium visitors.

Duties/ Responsibilities

To maintain high standards of cleanliness in all public areas, including toilets. To maintain high standards of cleanliness in all staff areas to include toilets, offices and staff room. To maintain high standards of cleanliness in preparation for and after events and venue hire. Duties will include but not be limited to sanitising, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, and dusting. Timely emptying and cleaning of bins and replenishing disposable items.

Requirements

Availability to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays Capable of working efficiently to complete tasks within the shift time Able to speak with visitors in a helpful and approachable manner Reliable, hardworking and able to keep up with a busy environment
