Salary
: 24,000 per annum + circa 2,000 per annum in weekend enhancements based on working 2 out or 4 weekends, rates as below:

We are looking for a dedicated
Cleaner / Cook
to become a part of our small team, providing 7-day cover and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for families and children who rely on our care.
As
Cleaner / Cook
your focus will be on cleaning duties, ensuring the hospice is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, whilst also taking responsibility for the kitchen on weekends, preparing and serving simple, home-style meals for families.
What you'll do as Cleaner / Cook:
Carry out cleaning duties in line with hospice standards.
Wash, dry, and iron clothes, bed linen, towels, and soft furnishings.
Maintain safe storage and use of cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH regulations.
Prepare and serve meals in line with food hygiene regulations, covering the kitchen during weekends and the covering when needed.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
What we're looking for:
Experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role
Experience of meal preparation preferably within a professional kitchen setting.
High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
