Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred, as some roles may require travel between locations.

Working hours are either Mon-Thur 18:00-20:30 (10hrs) per week with 2 persons, or Mon - Thur 18:00-23:00 (20hrs)with 1 person. There's another vacancy 1 person required in Dalkeith Mon-Fri 18:00-20:30 (12.5hrs) per week.

This vacancy is for self employed persons only.

Person must be local to Dalkeith

Person will be shown what's required on first day of work.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established protocols and standards Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests promptly and professionally Maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients to ensure satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role is required Previous employer references will be required Interviews will be held on Microsoft-teams or face to face Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that involve travel between sites Demonstrated customer service skills, with an emphasis on professionalism and courtesy
