Main Purpose of Post
To work as part of a team ensuring that high levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the School/Academy on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Individually or as part of a team, carry out any cleaning duties necessary to meet required standards within a designated work area (internal or external as required).
Ensure standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Use mechanical and manual cleaning equipment.
Use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed.
Assist in moving furniture and movable fittings.
Replenish consumables as required.
Report any building defects and vandalism immediately.
Contribute to major cleaning tasks during school holidays.
Follow Health & Safety guidelines and comply specifically with COSHH regulations.
Wear and care for the cleaning uniform.
Perform keyholder duties, including locking of the school.

Qualifications
Proven experience in cleaning and sanitation practices
Strong communication skills in English
Excellent customer service abilities
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license is a plus for transportation needs
