Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in two long established and successful department stores in both the Coleraine and Portrush areas. The ability to work between both locations is required.

This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including shop floors, fitting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure a clean environment. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and used safely. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and inquiries with professionalism. Able to be able to use basic understanding of signing in/out application Must be available to work a rotation of Saturdays/Sundays Must be able to follow a cleaning schedule

Skills

Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members. Driving skills are advantageous for transporting cleaning supplies or travelling between multiple sites as required. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 16 per week
