About the Role

Smart Eire Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Cleaner

to join our facilities team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our client sites. You'll ensure hygiene standards are met and consistently upheld for the benefit of staff, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general and deep cleaning duties in designated areas, including restrooms, offices, communal areas, and high-contact surfaces Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and sanitiser Follow established daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning schedules Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with site protocols Operate cleaning equipment safely and as instructed (e.g., vacuums, buffers, mops) Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the site supervisor Secure work areas after cleaning is completed Comply with COSHH regulations when handling cleaning chemicals Attend scheduled training sessions and contribute to team briefings Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality at all times

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols Flexibility to work varied shifts and locations Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work independently and within a team Good communication skills
