Job Description
To carry out cleaning duties as allocated by the Manager / Owner
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday - Morning or Evening - Either 6am-7am or 6pm - 7pm . Approximately an extra half hour per day may be required .
This post is regulated work within Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
This post has a minimum requirement of 2 reference which one must be your current or most recent employer.
A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
The successful candidate must comply with the companies polices and procedures .
MAJOR TASKS
Undertake cleaning of toilets
Undertake the cleaning of basins/bins / sinks
Hoover and Mopping floors
Wall washing, skirting boards and surrounding area of toilets and sinks where applicable
Cleaning of carpeted areas
Dusting, damp wiping, washing and polish application
Cleaning door handles and glass where applicable
