Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a clean environment for both staff and clients, contributing to overall satisfaction and well-being.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality of work. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility. Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is an advantage.
