At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.

In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland's largest independent parts distributor.

Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a

Cleaner

to join our Facilities department.

You will participate in the cleaning process throughout the Company ensuring hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with Company requirements.

Hours of work are

Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.20pm

and the salary is

12.60 per hour.

The main duties of the role are:

Carry out cleaning and hygiene duties on both inside & outside buildings Ensure all areas of responsibility are kept clean, tidy and hygienic always Ensure work is carried out to required cleaning standards and report areas of concern to line manager Keep track of stock levels of cleaning materials in stores to ensure availability, provide weekly requests for replenishments via helpdesk Carry out site housekeeping duties which will include weeding, litter picking and general site upkeep tasks as and when required

To be effective in this role, you will have:

Previous experience of working in a cleaning role Knowledge of safe working practices, e.g working safely with cleaning materials Excellent attention to detail
